Pablo Martínez on video for Forbes Uruguay: the OnBoard Logistics vision

A Forbes Uruguay BrandVoice video with our CEO, Pablo Martínez: how OnBoard Logistics operates, its digital focus, sustainability and new markets.

A great short video to get to know OnBoard Logistics better: Forbes Uruguay BrandVoice interviewed our CEO, Pablo Martínez, on camera. An interview well worth sharing.

A leading Latin American company

“We are a logistics company; we do freight forwarding, international freight. It is a service company,” Pablo explains. Today OnBoard operates in 15 countries with more than 30 offices and is a market leader in Latin America as a Latin American company:

  • Close to 400 people on the team
  • Revenue of more than 200 million dollars
  • More than 6,000 shipments a month

Miami, the gateway to Latin America

The main warehouse is in Miami, the gateway to Latin America: 75,000 square feet with 25 dock doors. OnBoard also has warehouses in other US cities, such as Chicago and Atlanta, and warehouses and trucks in several places across Latin America.

100% digital, with artificial intelligence

“We are a company that is 100% digitalized”: every area of the company is digitalized. Artificial intelligence has made data analysis much faster, and OnBoard uses it to improve its internal processes.

Sustainability: we are part of society

The company is designed as part of society. In the countries where it operates, it carries out initiatives at the corporate level and also at the local level, according to each country’s needs. With the airlines, OnBoard offsets the carbon footprint of its air and ocean shipments, among other initiatives to give back to society and be better for the market.

New markets: Venezuela and Argentina

Venezuela is a market that is starting to open up after many years, and OnBoard is ready, working on the permits it needs. In Argentina, an opportunity has opened with the agreements between Argentina and Chile for mining: several OnBoard clients will start working in that market, and the company will support them, most likely next year, with a position in Argentina.
